Default help with changing columns on product listing

    Hey guys

Could someone explain how I swap the coumns about so the item name is the first coumn on the listings:

    http://www.pressedmemories.co.uk/ind...=index&cPath=1

and, also how I change the actual title of the columns - eg/ from 'item name' to 'template number' etc..

Many Thanks for the help :)

    Alright pal,

From the Zen Cart admin, go to the Configuration menu and click Product Listing.
From there, you should be able to rearrange the columns using the options in the first 7 lines of the Product Listing section.

With regards to the column names, you should be able to find that in the english.php file. It's located at includes/languages/english.php.
Have a look around in there. I searched for Item Name, but that particular entry is to do with downloadable products and the checkout. Depending on what type of product the item is, it may be in a different place.

Hope that helps, but that's as far as my knowledge of that area goes, I'm afraid.

I had another look at the column name issue for you, and had an idea.

Instead of using the Item Name in the listing, you could always just use the Product ID. When uploading the product, just put the name of it in the ID section below the product description, and in the Configuration > Product Listing section that I mentioned before, just have the Display Product Model set to 1, so that it is the right column name, and is on the left of the image.

One way to change the names (a better solution to my previous one), would be to go to includes/languages/english/index.php and change the names that way. You'll see the column names in that file.

    Hope that's helpful!
