    Default Problems with Checkout

    Zen 1.3.8a

    ---
    we are having a problem with check out in the last day or so the system will not recognize any of the shipping modules when you get to step 1 of the check out

    What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

    Do you have Zones set on either USPS or UPS shipping module?

    Do you have the current USPS January 2, 2011 C version installed from post #26 of:

    No Zones Set

    There have been no changes on our side to the shipping modules at all.


    we have not done the USPS Jan 02, 11 C version -- will do this afternoon --

    BUT why would the entire system stop a day ago when it was working fine up till now ? Curious.

    Have you asked your host if there have been any server changes?
    eg
    have they upgraded php, mysql etc

    not that we can see --- they are pretty stable and dont do changes without advance notice -- but will check with them -

    Could you go to your Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box do a search on:
    usps.php

    what comes up for the version id and where is the file located?

    What options do you have set on USPS and UPS?

    I have not changed the options on these modules so not sure what we are looking for how ever -- when you try to do a check out of any kind it wont let you get past step 1
