You either have the wrong USPS shipping module installed or did not do a REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure after loading the current USPS January 2, 2011 C version from post #26 of the thread:
http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=171314
Just for giggles, I would do a REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure on UPS as well ...

So in the meantime Rob pulled the shipping modules of both USPS and UPS and put on the Free Ship Module --- I would rather eat the shipping while we sort this out then get no sales at all.
We hope to find a solution to this soon.
Also having Pay Pal issue which is new ...
when you go to check out with Pay Pal you get this:
An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. () - (6) Couldn't resolve host 'api-3t.paypal.com'
===================
All my pay-pal settings seem to be correct ....
thanks for your help. I sent some coffee and donuts earlier!
Cheers

Okay you are not using the one that was released for Zen Cart by the Zen Cart Team for the:
USPS January 2, 2011 C version from post #26 of the thread:
http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=171314
so I really cannot say what the problem is with the module you are using ...
If you want to rule out the issue of not being able to work with the USPS shipping module, I would suggest that you try that one and see if it works for your site ...
As to using the version that you are trying, you might post on the support thread for it ...
