Default Re: Adding tracking script to main page

I have some interesting screen captures of what is going on by just putting the code on one page of (any) web site.

I am not here to argue; just to learn. and I have some real pressing problems that need to be addressed.

Why is someone trying to hack into a new installation of Zen cart that has no links to it ?? How does anyone even know I have just installed this (newer store) Notice the address

My store that is linked and advertised is

    http://majikimaje.com/Zhop

A new store (with no mistakes) was being worked upon; until I noticed I have major traffic on these pages. At first I thought it was a bot or spiders from search engines; but those things do not try and log in !! http://majikimaje.com/Zhopping has been taken down.

2 people from Japan 2 people from California 2 people from Texas and one from Chicago all are trying to log into this new store I am trying to design. the over-rides are working correctly.

I then notice all of these people have the same exact ISP.

"trend micro systems" in Japan - California - Texas & Chicago!!

Uh Uh.. something is going on here and I have no idea what it is. i have sent the images and such to trend micro systems and I want an answer of what is going on here.

The Point I am trying to make is that despite what hitsniffer claims.

The evidence shows the results of my statements as being correct, to some extent I guess.

That is where you made your mistake. You cannot rename any "default" files as Zen Cart looks for them first, then looks for any Override files.

    includes/templates/template_default/common/tpl_main_page.php

That file must always be there and named as it is.

    My mistake was not constructing a sentence properly;

I took the file you mentioned. I did edit it and make the changes necessary. I saved that file and uploaded another identical copy into the directory. I ren-named a second original so that just in case I coud return that file to its original state - in case my changes didn't work.

The reason my changes didn't work was because I did not properly setup the over ride system completly.

I installed another copy and took the time to set up a proper override system that actually works this time.

Now I want to go back and do things right - the way you say it should be done. That was my whole purpose for setting up a second store - so I could find my mistakes and correct them.

My broken english stinks because I live with Eskimos in the far north region of the Arctic for over 30 years now !!

You sure have taught me a lot and I thank you so much !!
