Where is my admin area?

I am an X-Cart person if it helps. But when I go to my new Zen Cart - I need to get to the admin area so I can begin custominzing my cart. The directions say go to http://www.your_site.com/YourAdminFolder/ So I do that and - oops broken link. In X-Cart there is a link in the upper right can corner when you log into your cart that says "admin".
I am sure this is simple - but so illusive right now.

What version of zen cart did you install?

Use your FTP program and navigate to the root directory to view the file structure...
You probably renamed the admin folder for security and when you find..

www. your_web_site.com/ your_admin_name

yes - you are corerct I renamed it but for security reasons I was not going to put the new file name here. I will go back and check out my file directory.

So I tried that and it didnt work. I installed the newest version of Zen cart. I have reinstalled 3 times ove the last week - just hoping

Did you edit your admin/includes/configure.php file to reflect your new name??
