Please help with attributes and pricing trouble

Hi! I so hope someone can help me...I've been at this for hours and would LOVE some help.

I am new at entering attributes and am having trouble. Basically my product has two options to purchase. One is to receive it digitally at one set price or to receive actual hard copy prints at another price. I would like the buyer to be able to choose the digital file or prints. I have tried entering both price options two different ways --- one way was to add an Option Name for each digital and prints then I assigned a price for each in the Attribute Controller and I also tried creating only one option name with a dropdown box with each option as the dropdown.

The problem is that the shopping cart is adding BOTH these prices together. It is not reading them as two different options. For example, digital file is $10 and prints are $24. When you add either option to your shopping cart it adds both and totals it to $34.

How should I enter this so that these two options are listed separately and not combined??

I hope I am making sense and explaining this correctly.

Did you have your product page to be Product Priced by Attributes:?

This is a radio button 3 or 4 lines below the Product Name...

I have clicked on the digital and went to the shopping cart and was just priced for the digital 10.50

then i deleted cart and added 10 invitations for 24 and the shopping cart was only 24..

So going with having only one Option Name with a dropbox and adding "Digital File" and "Prints" together in the dropbox, it is no longer adding both of those prices together. But what it is doing is adding in the Product Price from the products listing page. But when I change the product price in the listing page to $0.00 then it shows that the starting price is $0.00 on my website.

I just don't know what to do. Thanks so very much for any advice.

Possibly could be the custom template that you are using and has different .php coding for the attribute section...

Only way to tell is admin panel/ tools/ template selection

Change back to the classic contemporary green and duplicate the two option and see if the problem exists..
