    how do i remove/disable: new products - all products
    admin > config > layout settings > Categories Box - Show Products New Link
    admin > config > layout settings > Categories Box - Show Products All Link
    how do i remove the category listing in the header?

    My category tabs menu is 0 and the
    admin > config > layout settings > Categories Box - Show Products New Link
    admin > config > layout settings > Categories Box - Show Products All Link
    is set to false but still i see the new products on my sidebox. any suggestion !!

    Is it the link in the categories box you see?

    or is it a separate "New Products" box?
    If so turn it off in admin->tools->Layout Boxes Controller
