Help with uploading Easy Populate

Easy Populate uploads folder not found

Your uploads folder is either missing, has incorrect permissions, or does not correspond with the Easy Populate configuration. Please confirm that the Easy Populate Configuration contains the correct location of an existing folder. Easy Populate cannot operate until you have provided an uploads folder with read/write permissions. Note that these permissions are required by PHP and your web server application. Usually permissions equal to chmod 700 are required, but you may require chmod 777 depending on your hosting server setup.

I have no idea what to do. I am new to zen cart and easy populate. I have done hours and hours of research trying to fix this problem but I still havent found the answer. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
