Default Media Manager clips broken -- using CEON URI Mapping

I have no problem uploading or linking my Media Manager files. My problem comes when I click on the media collection. For some reason, I get a 404 error. I'm certain that the files are where they should be (I've checked numerous times). I've tried everything from modifying and/or removing media .htaccess and at best get a page that pulls up with a broken image icon.

I do have CEONs URI Mapping, and I've heard that sometimes this causes mods not to work. Is there anybody who has the Media Manager working?

Have you perhaps tried turning your URI Mapping addon OFF to test?

Yes, I have tried turning off the module. In doing so, when I click on the Media Collection, I'm taken to the home page.

While the site is in down-for-maintenance mode I can't do much other than guess.

So ... if you right-click on a media-collection link, and copy it to your clipboard and then open a new tab in your browser and paste it in, what does the URL look like?
    Paste it here also.

Man, I'm so sorry! I made the store live for you. Wasn't thinking too clearly! The Url looks like this lowkeymusicentertainment.com/store/media/CantMakeYouLoveMe.mp3

Try this temporarily: Admin->Configuration->My Store->Missing Page Check ... set it to Off (and take note of what it was set to *before* you change it ... and mention it in your reply)
Then try clicking the link again.

If that doesn't make any difference, try renaming your /store/.htaccess file to htaccess_bad and try again (This further disables any URI mapping)
And then if that still doesn't work, do a similar renaming of your /store/media/.htaccess to htaccess_bad and try again (this disables security protections)

And of course ... use your FTP program to ensure that the file of that exact name (mixed upper-lower-case) actually exists on the server in that folder.

Doc you're a genius, turning off the CEON mod, and renaming the store/.htaccess file did the trick!
Here's the million dollar question; is there a way to turn the URI module back on and keep the media collection error free?

Sure: You'll have to fix whatever rules the CEON URI Mapping module had that aren't compatible with your media collection links. I suspect the .htaccess rewrite rules are the culprit. Perhaps the support thread for that module might be of help?
