Default Adding additional images through attributes

Hey all. My first shot at this, I had no problems....but it's turned on me.

I had no problems adding size, color and an additional image on my first go.

    http://www.thaitreasurehunter.com/in...roducts_id=181

But now, if I don't select an attribute and just try to upload an additional image, then it SHOWS that the image is in the attributes but it doesn't show on the product page. If I add the image to an attribute, I get this.....

    http://www.thaitreasurehunter.com/in...roducts_id=201

I'm just trying to show the two different colours! I have no idea what I did right the first time around and what I'm doing wrong now.

First the image being displayed is
    /images/attributes/Black and yellow geometrical.jpg

    The product image is
    /images/Black and white geometrical.jpg

Start not using spaces in your image names or caps

As it seems that the yellow image is in the attributes

When you use the attribute controller, did you add a swatch for each color?

Indeed, Black and white is the main image and I uploaded black and yellow through the attributes page. If I don't select an attribute and just try to upload it, it shows in the attribute listing for the product as an image under "TEXT". The Buddha art piece and the file names are very similar .... but neither are in the attributes folder.

    main: /images/Art 3 Panel Buddah.jpg
    additional image: /images/Art 3 Panel Buddah 2.jpg

Also, looking at the attributes list of the Buddha art piece, there isn't an image in the list. I've obviously done things different but can't remember how. I didn't use FTP in either case. This has been causing nothing but trouble, such as.....

    http://www.thaitreasurehunter.com/in...roducts_id=186

I didn't upload that 2nd image and have no idea how it got there. I've deleted the product and re-added it, yet that 2nd image is still there and I can't get rid of it!

If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, what is doing the same thing over and over and getting different results every time? lol

Wait. I figured this out and it's actually a pretty cool (hidden) feature. I don't know if it's intentional but it's good to know it's there!

I renamed "Black and Yellow geometrical" to "Black and white geometrical 2" to test a theory. I uploaded the image to an attribute (in this case, the color yellow) and it placed the "large" image as well as the pop-up image. When I removed the image from the attribute, the large image was removed but the popup stayed.

ZenCart is pulling images from the main directory with almost exact file names and placing them as additional images on products that share the file name! Neat little automation. Intentional? I don't know....but cool.

That is a bit different than an attribute swatch
    but is a documented feature

You really should quit using caps and spaces in your image names
