Help removing text on footer menu

I removed the links to Specials, Features and Gift vouchers in the footer menu define file but have been left with gaps and invisible text that is only visible when highlighted.
I just need to know how to get rid of it?

That doesn't look like default text from Zen Cart, I think it was added to the template.

At any rate, you can search for the text GVFAQCOUPON in your Admin > Tools > Developer Toolkit. That'll tell you what file to edit and remove the text.
