whos_online page is running slowly on my server

I've got some slowness issues but mostly in the Admin. When I attempt to do a Whois Online, I end up having to do multiple refreshes to (sometimes) get the info.

Any suggestions?

Does your server have SuHosin (also called "Hardened PHP") installed?

From the host:

On our shared environment we do not have SuHosin installed. All of our shared and dedicated servers have both PHPsuExec and suPHP. SuHosin can be installed on a VPS or Dedicated server.

I mentioned SuHosin because it is known to cause problems in the 'admin' panel of Zen Cart with the "Who's Online" feature.

But if SuHosin is not installed then that's not the source of your problem. Sorry I can't help further.

Likely a slow name-lookup process on your hosting company's server.
That's not something Zen Cart can control.
