Categories not appearing in menu

Hi Folks

I have a category (named "Parts & Accessories") with 17 subcategories all with product in them.

I have them listed as "Categories sort order, Categories name" although that doesn't seem to matter. They all look good and in correct order in the Admin, Categories / Products however they only show 15 subcategories in the shop's pulldown menu.

If I click on the top category "Parts & Accessories" on the pull down menu it shows a list of all 17 categories and they are selectable, but the top 2 (Apparel and Armrests) don't show on the pull down.

The 2 products showing at the top of the pull down are named Upholstery and Wheels, why are they at the top? if I add sort order nos. in the admin they still don't move. I can change the sort order for the others categories, but not words starting with U or W, whether they have sort order nos or not. They are forced to the top and they knock off the top 2 categories. I have show 20 products in the maximum values, admin.

What template is that? That menu is not part of a stock Zen Cart.

Hi Kim

Standard template, slightly modified, I can't remember who's pull down menu I added, but it is slightly modified to add EZ pages.

Im sorry I'm being oblique but now I am having trouble logging into my admin and I can't check or do anything.

Bad things come in 3's don't they.

You're using 1.3.8? Eeek! You need to upgrade ASAP! That version is subject to some nasty hacks - one of the symptoms is problems loggin into the Admin ... http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...ing_From_Hacks
