Change Image Appearance

I currently have three images across as seen here:

The set-up is slightly different here:

What I would like to do is go with larger images and only two across to make a real impact. Hey, if it looks like crap I can bring it back to how it is now. What do I have to change to create that look?

I see this in the stylesheet, which BTW was shown to me in this forum many months ago. I don't know if any changes are needed to this. Where are changes needed? Admin>Config>Max Values? I'll need to make all the images larger, probably 300 x 300 (they start out at around 500 x 500) and then I'd run them through webresizer.com.

I've been looking for a website that has this layout and haven't been able to find one to show for example sake.

You can edit in the admin--configuration--images and admin--configuration--index listing
