moving main page

Hi,
I would like my site to zen cart site to load when FROM www.curvesandcorsets.com instead of www.curvesandcorsets.com/catalog I have read the tutorial but am still confused. Could someone possibly explain it in simple terms for an idiot?

Use your FTP client and you should see something like

..
/catalog
admin(renamed)
cache
editors
images
includes
etc
PLUS several files

Use/select/highlight every thiing that exists there and drag & drop it on

..

Then follow the tutorial to edit the 2 configure files to reflect this relocation

Thanks that was much easier to follow. The home page works now but I seem to have lots of duplicate pages when you click home you get to curvesandcorsets.com/catalog
I didn't actually move the files but copied them to www directory due to way my FTP works, is this a problem and should delete the folder "catalog"?

I removed the "/catalog/" reference from includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php. Should I hve removed the _CATALOG also as thought doing so might mess things up.....

Followed all the instructions and deleted the catalog folder as I had copied all the files from www.curvesandcorsets.com/catalog to just www.curvesandcorsets.com but now the website doesn't work at all. Can anyone help?

The site appears to be working fine, but you've still got a reference to /catalog somewhere. Check both config files again.

It looks like you've been making your changes in the /classic folder. BAD BAD BAD IDEA. When you upgrade/update Zen Cart ALL YOUR CHANGES WILL BE LOST. Please read the Tutorials/FAQ about creating a custom template.
