Page 2 of my categories not loading. Weird, right?

Hi, I inherited management of this site

There is adult content on this site.

Only page 1 of any of the categories is loading. This is version 1.3.9 h upgraded from (I think) 1.2.6-ish What can cause it to be hanging on the first page of the categories like that?

You have a url rewriter working on your site, have you tried turning it off temporarily to see if that fixes the problem.

Personally i would recommend looking in the support thread for whatever url rewriting mod you are using, as this looks to me like an error in that area of things

I don't see any info in my configuration about a url rewrite module. Should I look in the phpmyadmin? What should I look for?

No it won't have anything to do with phpmyadmin,

as for configuration i don't know I have never used them, I have seen this question being asked before, i think it was ultimate seo urls?

There should be more info in the proper support thread, but you need to figure out which one you have

I would say it something to do with mapping, but really this is not something i know about, the Gurus those threads will know way better

Actually that tip helped! I took a backup of my db tables then did a search in the databse for "Seach Engine URL" and found the table for "Search_engine_friendly_URLS" and dropped it.

Now it's working.

you may want to look at re-adding/fixing it as the search engines will have you listed under that and you will loose a lot of rank
