The basics first:
I'm using Zencart v1.3.9h. I haven't upgraded, it was just installed a few days ago. I don't have any add-ons installed. I'm creating a custom template, and until today, I was having no issues modifying the stylesheet.css. I just threw some basic stuff up there for now, so I could work on the other parts until I was ready to design the template.
I've searched the FAQs and google for a solution to my problem, and tried whatever I could come across. None of those have worked, so I'm turning here.
I use GoDaddy for hosting, and recently switched from Windows hosting to Linux hosting. Upon doing so, I deleted my old installation of Zencart, and started fresh.
This is the issue:
Today, I wanted to start on the design aspect of my cart so I can get it live, and continue to add products to it while allowing customers to order from products I've already set up. I created the new images, uploaded them to the templates/custom/images folder. I editted my stylesheet to change the background color to a black, instead of a green, and uploaded the new stylesheet to templates/custom/css. I saw no changes. So, I switched to the classic template, and that worked fine, so I switched back to my custom template, and it was still the old stylesheet. I tried deleting the old stylesheet, and uploading the new stylesheet, and it still doesn't work. I tried renaming the .htacess files to .htaccess_OFF and still doesn't work. I'm at a loss.
Aside from deleting the entire custom template and starting over, what can I do? Am I missing something really simple?
