I have four different shipping situations that need to be applied, but I'm getting stumped at how to execute them (and do it properly)
1. People buy in the midwestern states receive one set of shipping rules based on the VALUE of the shipment.
2. People who buy in Michigan have the same shipping rates as above, but must be taxed as well.
3. People who buy in Alaska or Hawaii have shipping rules based on the WEIGHT of their shipment.
4. Everyone else in the USA have a separate shipping rate based on the VALUE of their shipment.
WHAT I'VE DONE SO FAR:
I created 4 different zones (midwestern states, Michigan, Alaska/Hawaii, and the remaining states) and under zone rates, I applied the shipping rates for Michigan, the USA and Midwestern states (they are all based on the value of the shipment) but it would only give the shipping rates for the midwestern states (eg. I created a customer profile based in California, made a test order but the shipping that was charged was for the midwestern states).
I thought I'd be able to use the table rate to handle the Alaska/Hawaii customers (those are based on weight) but this didn't work at all.
I am extremely new using ZenCart so I'm not sure if I'm just missing something basic or if there are some bigger steps that I need to take to make this work.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
