Category link: link to EZ page

We have several categories that use a widget to pull in data from our Manufacturers. I have set up EZ pages that use php to get what we need on those EZ pages however, I still need to link the categories link in left category sidebox to the appropriate EZ page. I have read several threads that mention mods but all the mods I view only place the link of the Psuedo category at the bottom. We still need all the Category links to be alphabetical whether or not its a category containing local db product data or whether is a category void of local products and pulling in data from a remote server.

Since I cannot use php include in the category description Im wondering what other solutions there may be to be able to link a real category to an EZ page when user clicks on the category link.

Still not actually linking an actual category to an ez-page, but Categories Dressing can let you place a "heading" above any given category in the sidebox. This "heading" can be a link, and styled to match the category links. It would need to be manually placed in the correct order, though, and could not be independently sorted alphabetically.

our site has categories displaying in the main top menu bar
Id like to have some of our EZ pages display alongside in the same menu bar.
Or perhaps a workaround, were i create new category have it display in the top menu (as normal)
- then make it link to an EZ page.
is this possible

Anything is possible... if you know how to code for it:) The CSS Dropdown Menu mod is designed to be able to add new items to the header navbar, but might not be the exact total effect you want. Your best bet might be to add some code to the categories-tabs code that will insert the links into the output at the desired points in the category link output.
