    Default Removing the /docs folder?

Hello, it is being recommended by my hosting company that I remove the docs folder. They are telling me

This directory contains information about your Zen Cart install, specifically what version you are using. This could aid an attacker and as such, we recommend that this information not be publicly available on your website.
So can I just delete it off my server? Or is there a different recommendation to protect this folder if it needs to be left on the server?
