Account creation - deleting certain sections and fields

Hi,

as part of the new account creation users are required to fill out a form...

I want to delete certain fields (or some of the sub sections of the forms)... as an example I want to delete company name, fax number and an option to subscribe to the newsletter... I've attached a snapshot of roughly what I want to delete...

please advice

I believe you can turn those fields off in

Admin-Configuration-Customer Details

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but just set them to false or 0.
