Default Can't access admin page-Offset not contained in string

Hi everyone, I was editing some shipping details in the admin area, and suddenly nothing worked. The site works fine but I now can't access the admin area. I found two error logs and this is what they say.

[20-Jul-2011 14:20:20] PHP Warning: strpos() [<a href='function.strpos'>function.strpos</a>]: Offset not contained in string in /home/ponyrp5/public_html/store/blahblah/includes/functions/general.php on line 1301

Ok I can access the admin area, but when I click on any link in the Configuration tab I get a

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

No, that's only one of many possibilities.

Just like your error message and the tutorial link both say, look at the server's logs to find out exactly what's triggering the error message.

I thought I posted the logs in the original post? Those are the only two logs in the cache folder.

The log files in the cache folder are PHP errors encountered by Zen Cart.

But your "500 Internal Server Error" is a server-side error, triggered by something in your server's configuration, likely Apache. So, you need to look at the Webserver's error log, most likely specifically the apache errorlog, or maybe the mod_security errorlog. And, most likely you won't have access to those yourself, which is why the article is telling you to talk to your hosting company.

Ok, checked the logs, looked like my admin/configuration.php had write permissions, took them off and everything works again.
