    Default Hacking problem

Hi, I was wondering if anybody here would be able to help me?

I'm using version 1.3.8a of Zen Cart, it has not been upgraded to the latest version yet. No addons that I am aware of. Site not customised. Hosted by Bluehost. Can't find anything in the FAQ and forum.

My website has been up and running for the last few years with no problems, in the last few weeks it has been repeatedly hacked. From looking at the logs it appears they have been gaining access through a page called 'Privacy Notice' (that I didn't even know was there) the route is /index.php?main_page=privacy.

On this page there is an upload function, is there a way of deleting or disabling this page?

Many thanks in advance if you are able to help me.

    v1.3.8a is inherently insecure.

The following link explains how to recover your store.

It is *strongly* advised that you upgrade as soon as possible, or at the very least apply the security patches to your v1.3.8 installation.

    Cheers
