Your session has expired. Login Time out using Chrome

I'm currently using zen cart, but some of my customers are getting the "Whoopps Your session has expired." error message after adding items to a cart and clicking the"goto checkout" button . All the users are Chrome browser users, I downloaded chrome myself and I get the same error.

Any reason why chrome dosen't work with my cart but IE and Safari users are OK?

Maybe chrome is doing something unconventional with cookies.
You could try changing either of these two settings in Admin->Configuration->Sessions. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE IN THERE!!!!!!!
- Use root path for cookie path
- Add period prefix to cookie domain

ALL THE OTHER SETTINGS SHOULD BE LEFT AS DEFAULTS!!

I did as suggested. When re-logging onto my admin page, it suggested I clear the admin log files. Completed this.

Chrome and IE worked but Safari then didn't work.

Reset all options back to original status within my admin page and all browsers now work.
