Please Help - how do I move from domain.com/zencart to just domain.com?

Hello guys,

I need some help, I finished creating my website with zen cart, now I would like to know how I upload to my domain because now to go to my website I need to type www.mywebsite.com/zencart but now I just want access the website just typing my domain.

2 ways u can do that. either using redirect from www.abc.com to www.abc.com/zencart

other way is move all files from your zencart folder to root folder and then edit 2 files

admin>>includes>>configure.php and change accordingly all links
do same in includes>>configure.php as well.

Thanks for the help but how exactly do i do that? I am sorry i am new to all of this, I found the files that i have to edit but how ? I have the notepad to edit these files but i am totaly lost...

Download the two configure.php files to your computer using your FTP program, remove the /zencart part from all paths, save and upload back to the server.
