Default v1.3.7 iPad compatibility problem editing product descriptions.

Hi, I am using an iPad when I'm not in my office. It's great for checking out what is going on in the shop. One thing I can not get working is editing a product description. It does not matter what browser I use, on the ipad I can not see where the cursor us, or it just starts typing at the top of the description and I can not edit existing words.

Does anyone recognize this problem and has anyone perhaps solved it?

    I'm using zen-cart 1.3.7.

    Regards, Frank.

    1) are you using the plain text editor or one of the html editors (htmlarea ckeditor, tinymce), I do know that various older versions of htmleditors don't work well in all browsers
    2) Have you tested on the latest version 1.3.9h, to see if the same problem exists

If you are using the html editors, what happens when you switch to source mode in the editor

I believe htmlarea and ipads don't play nice (htmlarea is around 7 years old)

    Hi, thanks for your input.

I've set up a 1.3.9-store and there the problems are the same.
Now I've seen that it does not go wrong using plain text, so that's a good work around, but using HTMLArea does not work, because the cursor is not visible and the other mentioned problems. So it seems htmlarea is not compatible with the iPad.

    Regards, Frank.
