    CAVEAT !!!

    If you assign a NEW ID to a customer that you want to import, then you will ALSO need to replicate this ID against other records in other tables !!!

    It can be done... but requires some care... We have (in the past) used MS Excel and its various LOOKUP formulae to achieve this.

    I started doing this in my html editor but got messed up when I encountered some customers that had several address entries. And then an identical customer ID used a different address book ID and then customer info ID's so I was starting going cross eyed.

    Actually when doing this what I was trying to do is add the existing customer ID's to the import files, find the identical ID's, move them to the bottom and give them new ID's on the high end.

    Maybe I'll go back and try again.
