Re-stock level per product

Is there a way to setup re-stock levels per product instead of the current global re-stock level number? Or possible an addon existing?

No add-on that I know of, but if you have programming skills it wouldn't be too difficult.

You'd need to extend the product table and then add to the admin products page to maintain it.

Then you'd need to hijack the low stock report and emails to compare the product quantity to your new database field rather the single one-size-fits-all configuration setting.
