Attribute VALUES not showing up on invoice.

Odd... just noticed this. When an order is placed online, customers build their product by adding a few attributes. Some are free, some aren't. When we pull the order from the site, we build the product from that order. But we've just noticed that while the ATTRIBUTE is listed, the selected VALUE is not.

It will look like:


COLOR:
CASE COLOR:
BATTERY TYPE:

with no values. It SHOULD look like this:

COLOR: RED [R]
CASE COLOR: YELLOW [Y]
BATTERY TYPE: AA Alkaline (+2.60) [A]

We then use that RYA to build the proper part.

I don't understand why the values aren't showing. HELP??

Did you make any modifications to the attributes files ?

No, the only mod besides a template (blue cart) is a Cross Sell mod.

Did this problem appear after installing the Cross Sell mod ? If it did appear after installing the mod you should try installing the store again but, without the mod.

We didn't notice at first because the Attributes weren't functional, but from the earliest order after they WERE, the values haven't shown. This is prior to CrossSell being installed.

That works OK on my stock test site. What payment module are you using, and can you activate the Check/Money Order module long enough to try a test order using that ?

I'm not sure I'm clear on that. Yes, I can turn on the check/m.o., then what?

Create a test order using Check/Money Order and see if the values are in the order. The only difference mod-wise between your site and mine is the Cross Sell mod, which you say isn't the problem. That pretty much leaves the shipping or payment modules. Paypal IPN can have problems returning data, if that's what you're using.
