Sideboxes disappear when using paypal_creditcards_sidebox

Hi - I am using V1.3.9h and have just incorporated the paypal credit cards sidebox. All went well until I turned the sidebox on in the Layout Boxes Controller. All of the sideboxes that I had on my site on the right hand side disappeared. When I switch the paypal sidebx off they all re-appear.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to what may be happening?

Did you make any edits to the mod files ? Are there any error log files in your /cache folder ?

No mods made, and no errors in cache files relating to paypal sidebox.
