black pure theme, how do I change the colours??

I've tried changing the colours (white background, blue bars) on black pure theme. But no matter what colour I change it to it stays white. www.NiGraphics.co.uk thats the site.

In your stylesheet, look for

#mainWrapper {
	background-color: #ffffff;
	text-align: left;
	width: 969px;
	vertical-align: top;
/*	border: 1px solid #9a9a9a;*/
	}

Using Firefox and the webdeveloper add on, I changed the #ffffff to #000000 and the background changed to black. The sideboxes will still be white and will have to be changed separately.

What did you change that didn't work?

tried that change too, still stayed white.
I had changed the body background colour last time, still nothing.

afo's advice works for me in Web Developer, too. Are you sure your stylesheet changes are actually being uploaded ?

yes, I uploaded it through filezilla.

Might be a file or folder permissions thing, then. Check the date/time on stylesheet.css on the server.
