Redirection error after login page and changes in admin settings

Hi,
I have some problems with my site.
I don't know if they are related, but I am troubling to find any connection.

The first problem, that appeared last, is that after I added a banner in the footer of my site, all of the fonts were suddenly huge (everything except the searchbox in the header).
Even now when I have removed this image, the text is still very large.

And the second problem, which appeared earlier, is that when I visit my admin site, the site loads and appears empty (totally white site, no text). When I go to adminsite/login.php I get the usual login form. But when I have entered user/password and press the Login button, the form disappears and again the site is totally white.
Now, if I remove login.php from the URL, I will see the admin area with all of the configs (I have been logged in successfully).

If I now try to change any settings in the configs, and save the new value, I will yet again see this white, empty page. If I now go backwards in the browser and refreshes the page, all of my settings are saved correctly.

The same problem is appearing in the customer area, with one minor difference: The login page appears, but it will still not show anything else than the white page after the username/password has been submitted. If you go back and refresh the page in the browser, the login is successful here too.

I don't know what information that is needed to figure out the problem, but please do ask if I can give any more information!

I'm running version 1.3.9h with a Norwegian language pack. The problems appeared several days after I installed the language on my server, so I don't think it could be related to this, except for any values I might have changes without knowing about it.

I have set all file permissions to 644, except those that would need 777 (or 755) in this tutorial. These is set to 755.
