Default Passing customer info from store to paypal

I'm experiencing the exact same thing as in this thread:
    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79368

When customers fill out their info on our site BEFORE going to PayPal, they have to re-enter all of their shipping-info on PayPal's site. Only the customers e-mail is transfered.

I found DrBytes solution for 1.3.7, but that didn't work for 1.3.9g which I'm using.

    Any solution to my problem?

Love the way the customer get's automatically returned to the confirmation site at our store with express, so I can track the purchases with GA. This is not possible on IPN.

FYI: In our store, I've disabled all the buttons for the express checkout, so they have to follow the steps in my store as usual - to avoid misunderstandings - then they always have to enter their information at our site first, and I would like this information to be passed to paypal.

PayPal only supports sending ONE address to them at this time. There's no way to send BOTH the shipping and billing address to PayPal prior to the customer choosing whether to login to PayPal or to pay without a PayPal account.

You can lobby PayPal to add that feature by contacting PayPal directly.

I'm not sure if I explained this correctly?

My store doesn't send ANY address to PayPal.

I would like to send the address which my customer fills in on our site, before going to the checkout-page.

How exactly did you "disable" those buttons? I suspect you had to hack a bunch of code in core files.
If you were to upgrade to v1.3.9h (simply replacing a handful of files) then you wouldn't have to hack those files since there's a simple switch in your admin to turn off those buttons.

It doesn't send the address if the customer's cart contains only virtual items, since shipping isn't required in that case.

It can't send address information if required address fields are blank.

Otherwise it should be sending the address. If it's not, then I need to see the logs for those transactions.

    Ok.

Sorry. I actually haven't disabled the buttons yet. I just said I had, because I was going to do that -> I felt it would be easier to explain why my customer must go through the normal checkout process if I said I already had disabled the buttons.

So no, I haven't done much with the core files.

I have installed FEC though. And I use "2 page" checkout.

We don't sell any virtual products. They have to enter their shipping information to be able to make an account and then log in.

Also the customers (ME testing) who just logs in as usual, will have to fill in the shipping-forms on paypal.

I don't test using FEC, so can't confirm or deny whether your problems are related to that.

Any troubleshooting will require seeing your logs.
