In Sandbox Mode but order processed!

Hi

My first post on here and I have the info within the community very useful.

I have just about finished setting up my first Zen store using v1.3.9h. I am using PayPal express checkout module and it has been in the sandbox mode for three weeks or so.

However, it would seem that I have had one customer register, then place a successful order and I can't figure out how. I haven't received any money into my PayPal account though within orders there is a proper transaction with transaction ID and so on. When I log into PayPal from the transaction ID link in my store I get the message: You can only view the Transaction Details of transactions listed in your History log.

What I am most concerned about is how the customer got through the sandbox and of course whether or not he has actually been charged.

I am located in the UK and the customer in the USA.

Any pointers much appreciated. Thanks.

You probably need to follow up with PayPal directly.

Did you try looking up that transaction within your sandbox account?

Yes, it was in the sandbox account. Strange. However, we have now gone live and a customer from Germany is getting the following when trying to order (at Paypal site):

Sorry, an error occurred after you clicked the last link If you were in the process of buying something, or sending money to family or friends, we recommend you check both your PayPal account and your email inbox for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes.

I'm not sure what to do! Or what to check?

That's an error on the PayPal site.

You need to contact PayPal.
