Stock By Attributes allowing sale of out of stock items

Hi,

Hope someone out there can help, I've been trawling around for hours trying to figure this out!

I have a client with live store up and running, which uses the Stock By Attributes module (http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=310) to add different stock variants to their store. Everything works fine, except for the stock levels.

The client has manually set some of the items to 0 stock level, but they are still receiving orders. I've checked the config settings and the site is set to NOT allow stock to be orderd if there are insufficient quanitites, and on 'normal' product stock levels the Sold Out button appears and the item cannot be added to the basket.

I've checked that I have the right code in place (as there are a number of mods used on this site) and it all looks ok to me. Can anyone advise on how I can get these out of stock items to either not be added to the basket, or not allow the basket to be checked out?

It looks like there's a similar mod out there, but there are a lot of items in the store now and I'd rather not change the mod unless I can be sure that the database won't need any altering.

i too am having the same problem

i have been using stock by attribtes for years now, perhaps 5 years, but it has never worked properly, i just gave up in the end!

however, would like to get sorted once and for all

i installed this hack http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=625 and, yes, amount available is displayed, but, custom,ers are still able to buy products that are not add to stock by attributes, that are added and have been set to 0, etc.

so, generally, SBAs is still not working

any advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated
