[Bug in purchased template] Product Description shows HTML codes

Hi all,

I have searched this forum for my issue but none came up with the same situation that I have. I'm using zen cart v1.3.9h. Recently, I bought a template from Algozone. This template turns all of my product description into HTML codes. For example: The old template would display the description perfectly like this:

Minoxidil 5%.

Apply on scalp twice a day for 3-4 months to see results.

However, the new template from Algozone would display the description exactly like this:

Minoxidil 5%.<div><br /></div><div>Apply on scalp twice a day for 3-4 months to see results.</div>

I tried to poke around with the HTML Editor in the Admin Configuratotion as Plain Text and HTMLarea, but nothing worked. I contacted Algozone Technical Support to confirm that their template is indeed for v1.3.9h and asked if there's a solution to this. The Technical Support person just emailed me back and said I should change the encoding from iso-8859-1 to UTF-8 and closed the support ticket (!) I don't think would solve the problem because my old template also uses encoding iso-8859 and everything is fine.

If you use the build-in template, without installing addons, the store works properly, right?

The build-in template works fine. I also installed another template, it still works fine but it's too ugly. So I bought a 2nd template, this one came from Algozone, and this is the one that gave me the problem. So in summary: Build-in Template & 1 more template work fine, the Algozone Template gives problem.

You need to go back to the folks you bought the template from.
