Additional Images Not Displaying

To start, I'm using:

- Zen Cart v1.3.9h
- Tabbed Products Pro v1.07
- a heavily-modified layout/template

I'm having an issue with additional images -- I'm uploading the main image under admin when adding a new product, which works fine. I then manually FTP the additional images, whcih are numbered sequentially (i.e., the main image is "product-name-color-01.jpg, the additional images are "product-name-color-02.jpg," "product-name-color-03.jpg," et cetera) and uploaded to "domain.com/store/images/"

The first product for which I uploaded additional images worked fine -- I added the main image while creating the product, uploaded the remaining additional images, and a new tabbed (a la Tab Products Pro) popped up named "Additional Images," which displayed linked thumbnails for the main and additional images. The next three products for which I did this, however, are not displaying the tab or the additional images. I've tried FTPing all of the images, then adding the file name for the main image to the new product; FTPing all of the images and not defining a main image; and uploading all of the images while creating the product and unchecking "overwrite main image," which, I've discovered, replaces the main image.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. It's clearly not a template issue, because the first product still displays the additional images correctly.

I've Googled and searched on the forum for solutions to this issue, but most of the problems relate to using the Image Handler 2 mod, which I am not using.

Anyone have any ideas? I have a feeling I'm skipping a small, but important step, but I've re-read ZC's tutorial for adding additional images so many times that the the words are blurring :\

not sure but most obvious would be to clear your browser cache

then check tpp settings to make sure that TPP - Global Additional Images Tab is set to 1

I did clear my cache, but these are new products that I'm creating right now, so I don't think that's it. I checked the "additional images" setting in the admin before posting -- it is set to 1/true, and the additional images are showing up for the first product, so I don't think it's an admin or a layout issue. Oooh, I just realized you said to check under "TPP" admin settings -- "Global Additional Images Tab" is also set to 1/true

SOLUTION

I went back and re-read ZC's tutorial for additional images, and I realized that the main image should not have a number appended to the end of the file name. For example, your main image should read main_product_image.jpg, NOT main_product_image_01.jpg. Adding a number causes ZC to treat the "01" as part of the product/image name, so additional images would have to be numbered "01_01," "01_02," et cetera.
