Inventory and attributes

Hi guys & gals,

I'm new to the forum, and I have searched (to no avail) and perused the FAQ (without success) for the answer to my questions. I found similar problems but the answers don't seem to apply exactly to my issue.

I am selling a widget. Widget comes in 5 sizes: A, B, C, D, E.
I can and have configured Zen Cart to have a drop down menu of all the sizes. However, if not all of the sizes are in stock... lets say Widget C is in stock. I don't want any of the other sizes to be added to the shopping cart, and once C (the only widget in stock) has been purchased I want the "out of stock" message to come up.

I am by no means much of a programmer, thus I have gone with the Zen Cart. Can anyone help me?

P.S. Zen Cart makes me feel like I'm in a 747 cockpit... lotsa controls, lotsa options; I'm sure it only takes a couple of these to fly....

I haven't used it, so I don't know if it'll do everything you're asking about.
