Flat Rate Per Item Type Shipping

I tried searching the help section and tried searching the forum but couldn't find the answer I need. Here's my issue:

I sell three varieties of art prints; photo prints, posters, and ACEOs. I need to have a different shipping cost for each for both domestic US shipping and international shipping. I also need for shipping to be charged only once per order meaning if they buy several posters they only pay the shipping charge for one.

Let's say I want people in the US to pay a flat rate of $6.50 for any number of posters ordered while international customers pay $8.50 for any number of posters ordered. While the flat rates for the other types of prints are different flat rates.

How do I set this up or can I?

Then they'd pay the highest shipping cost of the types.

I can do this at places like Etsy and such but I'd like to do this in my own store. I just don't know how.

I just want it to be additive...if you buy item a with 25.00 shipping and item b with 5.00 shipping, I want it to charge 30 bucks...I want shipping value to be an attribute of the item not the order.

I ship guns, all of which are about 25 a piece of so...but if i sell soemthing else, like a hat, I want it to be like 3.00...

Actually, even by "class" would be fine. If the item is a "class a" item, shipping is 25.00 for those (per item), "class b" 5.00, etc...
