Date Available Product

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, if not I'm sorry.

I've looked everywhere for the answered to my question but haven't found it.

I'm wanting to know if there is a way to hide a new product from showing until the date available?

For example: I want to put a product in my store but I don't want it to show until the date I set, but I want it to release(show) automatically on set date.

I have set it to out of stock for it not to show but it does not change it to in stock on the date set.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

In the current version there is no built-in feature for auto-enabling or auto-disabling products on a certain date.
You could write your own custom code for your unique requirements if that's something you need. see www.zen-cart.com/helpwanted
