Default Re: The email form on "contact us" can't submit, why?

Yes I have been over and over that with the host and all they keep coming back with is the ssl is pointing to the right place.

I'm thinking of moving because I cannot seem to get them to understand there is even a problem on their end and I don't know enough to tell them what needs set how.

Going to go see if I got something from the contact us.

Maybe I need to clean my cache and cookies cause when I tried the form I got the same errors I had been getting.

"pointing to the right place" is another matter altogether, and where it's pointing is of course not the problem.

Tell the host that the SSL is enabling itself all the time, instead of only when requested.

Show them that if they go to http://your_site.com that it's INCORRECTLY auto-redirecting itself to https://...

And if the person you're speaking with can't comprehend that, ask to speak to their supervisor.

Digging around in the control panel I pulled up the certificate and there is a setting that says...
http > https yes or no
    disable http yes or no.

I know not to disable http but I think yes or no on the first one will change what is happening.
So I ask about which that should be set to.
    Waiting on their answer.

Oh they already told me the SSL covers all the site on virtual host.

    Didn't mean to hijack this.
I still gotta figure out that template problem where to go fix it on the contact us.

After going in circles I finally got the host to change some DNS settings in addition to my own the http stopped flipping to https and now the contact us form says your message has been sent.

Almost there :) Have to get things right to receive the emails.
