Can you try it without the SEO URL mod?

I have the same problem. I did replace the template file. It did not make any difference. Any suggestions?

    This is still happening.

I have version 1.5.0 and am getting the same 3 error messages.

I have switched to another template but it was happening on the classic install..

    Cannot find a solution anywhere.

Default Re: How do the Contact Us form work? Plz help!

There is a place to put your smtp server name and port but that is the outgoing setting.
I don't see where you put the incoming and that is different from the outgoing on my server.

I can send emails/newsletters from the admin panel just fine but the contact us will not work.

I get incoming mail on my server cp just fine.

help question Explain contact us errors please

I'm not sure that the problem is in port settings as I cannot get the contact us to even try to send something and I can go into the zen cart admin and send an email to the two accounts I set up. I do realize the contact us is an in thing not an out thing but I would think even if something was set wrong on the ports then the contact us would still seem to work when typed into but just wouldn't arrive to my inbox.

I was careful to type properly the address in the dropdown box part from the admin.

Why would the you must enter two characters error trigger when the name I am putting in has 7 letters in both first and last name?

Why would the did you forget your message error trigger when I know I am typing plenty into the text area?

Why would the system not understand the email address when it is typed properly.

I don't really get the chance to see if the emails go where they are suppose to as I'm not getting past the form.

None of that is related to the errors on the input form.

All those errors are a result of a broken template.
There is javascript code that is built to match the template code, and if you change one of them then you need to change the other.

Without a link to your specific page we can't help you with anything specific. All we can do is tell you that your code is broken. A fresh install of original code works properly, so something you've added/altered is what's causing your troubles.

    The link is...
    https://k e e s c r a p s.com/index.php?main_page=contact_us

I think I am getting the drift.

I changed the theme only so far ... so the template from the orginal needs to go somewhere into the new theme folders?

I sent a test message from the form. Did you get it?

Also, why is your site flipping into HTTPS on all the pages? That's not normal. It seems like your SSL setup is incorrect in your host's configuration of your domain. I can't access any http:// directly on your site without it converting itself to https:// first. That causes error messages and confusion for customers. It's a server misconfiguration, not a Zen Cart problem.

I did see the errors on submitting the form. I can't confirm whether they're a result of the SSL issue though.

No that isn't what you mean. I did go back to original to try to figure this out.
Javascript is not one I have studied on.
