Default Unable to Log in as Administrator

I previously installed ZenCart 1.3.9h on an Ubuntu Desktop 10.10 test machine successfully without error. I have now set up a web server on a fresh Arch Linux install and am trying to install a fresh ZenCart 1.3.9h on it, prior to moving data. Once a few server configuration issues were resolved ZenCart installed and the main can be viewed. The admin directory was renamed and the three appropriate lines <new_admin_dir>/includes/configure.php changed to reflect the new directory as instructed in the installation FAQ/Guide. Attempting to log in produces an "error" warning that there was a security error when trying to login as admin. The server log does not show any errors or warnings other than a missing Favicon.ico.

I have done numerous searches and have been unable to resolve the issue. I have cleared the browser cache, restarted the server with no change. I have tripled checked for typos. I plan on comparing my PHP and Apache configuration files from the Ubuntu to Arch boxes to find diffs between them but I fear that might be a needle in a haystack trying to find what setting is incorrect.

I am guessing this issue is related to cookies but my PHP settings appear to be correct but I admit I may have missed something. I am not a guru server admin so it's very likely I've configured something incorrectly. Any thoughts? Need any additional info?

This issue can be marked "solved." After some searching, it turns out that Google Chromium has a "feature/bug" which prevents the authorization code used by ZenCart to work. Using Firefox resolves the issue. Also, using a qualified domain name is supposed lo work too.

Perhaps such a warning should be put in one of the FAQs or even in the main installation instructions warning about browser choice. It would have saved me hours of scouring my configuration settings, to no avail I might add.
