step-by-step guide needed for novice

it's probably been covered but i'm very new to this.
i apologise
i think i need a step-by-step guide
so far, i've uploaded zencart to FTP, installed it, renamed admin and deleted z_install and now i'm stuck in admin not knowing what to do
i'm sure i read somewhere that i now need to configure?
so what exactly do i need to do now?
what's the next step?

i think i've read all the tutorials but i'm still a little confused
i've managed to set up 4 items in a category (i'm gonna go slowly not to confuse myself too much) they are live but if someone actually buys something, how do they go about paying as i've not - and don't know how to - set up shipping costs??

In your admin find modules, when you hover over that one there are three menu items.

First one is payment.

Here you can enable/disable your methods of payment.

As you are a novice in these things and freshly starting the PayPal option would likely suit you the most.

When you enable PayPal IPN or Express there is a tutorial on where to get the required data to put in.

Second menu item is Shipping.

Again you can enable or disable the desired method of shipping there.

You can either choose to have a flat fee or make rates according to weight/price etc or to use the pre-installed UPS or USPS modules.

If you have enabled at least one module in both Shipping and Payment the fun can begin. :)
