Stock By Attributes allows out of stock items through checkout!

Hi,

I've had a look at similar threads, and tried the solutions mentioned, but my cart is still allowing items with attributes which have a stock level of 0 to be added to the cart and go through the checkout.

I'm using:
Zen Cart v1.3.9h, this has not been upgraded at any point

• Additional Product Images
• google_analytics_by_andrew_2-2-1
• zen_lightbox_1-6-1
• captcha_using_ttf__gd_2-9
• editor__fckeditor_plugin_2-6-4-1

An example is http://www.turnerscabin.co.uk/index....roducts_id=324 with the second two options being out of stock (1/2" and 7/8")

I've tried using an alternative Stock Attribute controller (stockAttribute3.01.1) but I had to make quite a lot of corrections to the admin code to get that working, only to discover that something to do with the module was stopping the category list from working. From what I've read it appears that this is an older module, and the one I should be using for my version of Zen Cart is the stock_by_attributes_1.4.13 that I already have.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this problem? Ideally I'd like the option with quantity of 0 to either not appear in the list or to have 'Out of Stock' and 'In Stock' messages next to each attribute.

I'm having the same problem! Same version of Zen Cart; same add-on, same symptom. I also want to have the same solution as above.

I have search the forum, but don't see anything helpful...

Can somebody help?

OK. My problem is solved by using the two mods together: Stock by Attribute and Dynamic Drop Downs.

If they are not together, they have a problem. Like a marriage.

I suggest the author of the two mods should state this in the mod page.

The author of all the Dynamic Drop Downs versions (ModernM) has not done any of the updates for Stock by Attributes, so could not have put such a note in its documentation.
