Try redeeming it yourself ... if it does not redeem than it was previously ...

If the balance is already in there account you could take it out and try to resend it ...

Personally, I would install the Encrypted Master Password:
    http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=190

and login to their account to see what is displayed on their My Account and on the checkout_payment page ...

I have installed the Encrypted Master Password and the balance showed as it should in their account.

I contacted them again and they've now been able to use the amount. It turns out they were re-entering the code under 'Redemption Code' when checking out, but no amount under 'Apply Amount,' hence the error message.

Thanks again Ajeh ... and happy holidays to you!

One (stupid) way to solve this problem without putting our hands into php :

    - create a 1€ article with free shipping and hide it in your website with a code that none can find (in case people use the search box)
    - buy as many of this article as the amount of the certificate you want to disable (if certificate is 40€ buy 40 of this article)
    - copy paste the redemption code in the appropriate box and finalise your order
    - youpi ! you have got rid of a coupon/certificate without much hassle ...
(sorry for my broken English, I'm French, and I try to improve slowly)

    see you
