(Hyper)Link A Manufacturer?

How to link a manufacturer on a page like new_products.php? Want to do something like:

<a href="http://www.gotoamanufacturer.com/">$manufacturer_name</a>


If you go to one of my pages
http://www.5dollarcd.com/index.php?m...index&cPath=79

you'll see that the manufacturers(artist) in the list are clickable and they link to something like:
http://www.5dollarcd.com/index.php?m...acturers_id=89

Any idea what the code for this is or where I can find it? I've been looking for 3 days now and I've tried a whole bunch of stuff, none to any success. Thanks.
