Can't access install page.

is the location..it is blank. I haven't created the mysql files or anything. Has anyone had this problem.

Hi Not sure whether I can help you out much as I am still new to this but I will try for you. Can you give a bit more information regarding your install process.

You don't say how far along in the installation process you are. If it isn't completed, I would erase everything and re-upload the files and try again with a new database. If you completed installation:

I can't even get to the install screen. That is the problem here. I am 0 steps into the install process. I have never seen this before. The files have been deleted and uploaded and re downloaded multiple times and still the same result. I can't figure out what I can't get to the install screen.

After inspecting the Zec Cart zip file and the files after extraction I noticed they are almost all empty. Is this how it is supposed to be? I downloaded the package from this website, almost all the files are empty.

For instance: In the zc_install file I opened the index.php file in my editor and noticed the lines below:

require(DIR_WS_INSTALL_TEMPLATE . 'common/html_header.php');
require(DIR_WS_INSTALL_TEMPLATE . 'common/main_template_vars.php');
require(DIR_WS_INSTALL_TEMPLATE . 'common/tpl_main_page.php');



However, none of those files exist. Even the common directory doesn't exist. Therefore there is no way php could include the files in the install process. Is there something wrong with the download file?

Sounds like it. I would try downloading another copy.

Also could be the files are being lost or corrupted in the uploading process.

I figured it out. For some reason all the files were not downloaded last night in the zip file? I got the package from this website so I am not sure what happened. Thanks.

Many things can happen to data as it travels over the wires... One thing is for certain though, there is nothing missing from the core software's zip file.

Your data loss will almost definitely have occured as a result of a glitch during the download of the software.
