Saving display_price in a variable

Hello,

The first thing I want to apologize for my bad english, but I have an important question.

Is it possible, the final price to be displayed, stored in a variable?

I would like the cart button is only visible if the displayed price does not equal 0, - is.

I installed a module that you can give group rates, so is not sufficient if one reads only the standard price from the database, because otherwise the shopping cart button not visible from authorized users.

Therefore I ask for a way around the price displayed (only the numbers) to store in a variable.
