    Default Downloading PDF Books?

Wasn't sure where to post this...hopefully this is the right category.

I'm designing a website for a gal who wants to sell PDF books. I've gone through the admin section and I saw the entries for Downloads Manager and Media Manager, but they didn't seem to be quite what I needed. Or maybe I just don't know what I'm looking at.

Will someone please have pity on this poor confused webmaster, and point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Ok, its easy to do, my wife sells sewing patterns that are downloadable.

    First off

    read this.

Then read this (although by default it is fairly secure I think)
    https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=121

There is even a video of how to set it up on the first tutorial

If it helps any...I was reading a post from another person about the Attribute Settings, and I already have that set up correctly.

Where should the pdf books be stored, and how do I connect each one to the appropriate download button? (For that matter, where is the download button? Does it only show up after the person has paid? Or do I need to add something in the individual product screens?)

This needs to be an automatic thing, my client doesn't want to have to sit at the computer and manually approve every order.

    Thanks!!

Okay, I'm baffled. I got about halfway through the video clip, but my Option Values screen is totally different from what you're showing. I can't do anything with it. The one book is listed there, but it won't let me modify it.

This is what my screen looks like...totally different from yours. http://www.becca-sinh.com/images/option-values.jpg

    Help??

That's the same screen as the video shows at 5:45. Yours just doesn't have any Option Values entered into it yet.
